April 29th shred day!

Today i headed up Mt buller with some mates for an early season shred. Not expecting to much out of the day i was happerly suprised with what we could actuly do around the resort.

We built a table a stall and a rythem section in the morning. Then some guys where doing laps so we got a ride up in there car and did some hot laps of Burk street jibbing everything in site!

Later on after a feed of wedges from catlemans we stumbled into togga and daragh airing a stair set with there new bungy cord drop in rope i had a go and that thing is amazing!

Then moved onto a corogated pipe that some new moves were put down on.

Man Togga n Daragh can shred the shit out a rail!

Anyway Bullers announced that they are opening this weekend.. so keep posted for posibly another blog!

Peace

First snow!

First snow for 2009!!

Reports of over a foot of snow in the past 48 hours and more to come this week.

Fingers crossed for a good season!

This is as clear as it got all day.

Quick update

I arived back in Australia two weeks ago from my first full season in Breckinridge Colorado.

Here is a little bit about what i got up to.

My first two months was spent with the transitionist snowboard camp traning and compeeting under the eye of Jarrod and Christine, Ariving in colorado on the 14th of december.

My first two months was very progressive for my snowboarding, first chair up, last chair home.

Compeeting in two USASA events and getting myself a 3rd place.

After the camp had finished i moved in with freinds into a condo were i would spend the rest of my trip.

Riding with good mate jason maxfield for the second 2 months of my trip was grate, we both lernt a thing or two or three.

I had one of the sceariest moments on snow iv ever had while shooting a wallride with Lee ponzio, silly me poped to far off the wall and landed neck first on a fence... after a dogey chyropractor and a few days resting i was back on snow.

I enterd myself in another USASA competition and with Jason telling me about the posiblity of qualifing for the USASA Nationals i was even more exited about the competition.

I walked away with a 1st place that day and a place in the Nationals.

My competition day at the Nationals was on the 8th of April, 6 days befor i was to fly home.

I unfortunetly couldnt put my run down on the day and finished up 14th but had a good time as if was my first competition on that level.

Keep posted for more updates. :)
